This 15 span I-Beam on steel caisson piers crosses the Fox River Chute in Kaukauna.
Built in 1911, the bridge likely hasn't seen a train in 20+ years. The piers appear to be undermined by the sharp flow of the Fox.
Consisting of so many beam spans constricts the river flow, causing the bridge to deteriorate quicker than normal.
Currently, the tracks abruptly end on the south end of the bridge. It appears to be used for a spur to turn around and get back to the mainline.
Overall, the bridge is in fair to poor condition.
The author has ranked this bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design.
The photo above is an overview. The bridge can be seen from the parallel street.
